After Abortion Support
We offer debrief sessions for after your abortion, continued one-on-one or group support sessions.
"I've gone numb. It's frightening and it's very lonely."
Some women feel relief after having an abortion, others do not. Some may experience complicated emotions only weeks, months, or years later. We care about your story. Regardless of how long ago your abortion was, we provide a safe space to talk about your experience and find hope.
Women who experience complicated emotions after an abortion have said they have felt:
-
sadness and anger
-
guilt or shame
-
emotional numbing
-
depression
-
nightmares or flashbacks
-
thoughts of self-harm
-
alcohol or drug abuse
There is no shame in asking for support. If you just want someone to listen or if you are interested in participating in a one-on-one or group support program, it's up to you. You do not need to face this alone. Should professional counselling be required, we will connect you with the appropriate resources.

Introducing Our Program
If you are participating in this group program, then you have suffered a loss. This loss may have shaken you immensely, or you may have been able to manage well. Only you know where you are at in this journey, and we do not want to interpret your experience for you. We just want you to know that you are not alone; you are loved, valued and supported. We want this to be a place where you feel safe to be honest about your experience.
For those who have a relationship with God, our program provides questions to help you explore the role of your faith in your healing journey. We know the Christian church has not always been a safe place for those who have experienced abortion. Here you will find believers who empathize without judgement. We're here for you.
